Total Care Movers Is Open For Business During COVID-19
Despite the crisis and disruption going on around us, there are still many people looking to move home, store items, or retrieve items from storage. To help, we are remaining open during this time, to provide an easy, stress-free move for you. We know that it is a difficult time, so we will work hard to make your move as seamless and easy as possible.
Health and safety is our priority
The health and safety of our employees and customers is important to us. So, we have changed the way we operate to reduce contact and provide as little chances of infection as possible. To start, the quoting process can now be done via Zoom or Facebook Video chat.
When it comes to moving day, our team will maintain social distancing. To help with this, we ask that you either provide a sketch of where you would like your furniture to be placed, dictate from another room or digitally, or move it specifically in place afterwards if you are able. This will reduce contact between our team and your family, reducing the possibility of infection dramatically.
Before we begin moving your possessions, we ask that you notify us if the following applies:
- If you are displaying cold or flu symptoms
- If you have travelled overseas or interstate in the last 21 days
- If you have been advised to self-isolate
- If you have been in direct contact with a confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus
In the case some of these are applicable, we will have to assess the situation in order to protect our team. It may come down to having to reschedule your move in order to do what is best in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and follow all advice presented by the relevant regulatory authorities. If the situation changes in the future, we aim to keep all our customers up to date and will reschedule if need be.
